MRI safety guidelines, starting IV's, and the standard acquisition sequences for MRI scanning. - EMR &/or PACS they use: Epic - Department Specific Equipment: GE - Do they use RRA's (Registered Radiology Assistants)?: Yes, MRI Tech assistant - 1 per 8 hour shift. - Do they have to start IV's?: Yes - Shifts & Scheduling: 8 hours - start times 1st shift 6am - 2:30pm, second shift 2pm - 10:30pm, or 3rd shift 10pm -0630am. - Weekend Requirements: 1 weekend a month. - Holiday Requirements: Possible - Call or Standby requirement?: No - Scrub Color/Dress Code: Are scrubs provided?: We do not provide scrubs. Standard solid colored scrubs. Tattoos have to be covered. - Department specific orientation: 1 week depends on familiarity with scanner type (GE).
