Travel MRI Tech - $2,426 per week in Stockbridge, GA

Job Title: MRI Technologist Profession: Radiology/Cardiology Specialty: MRI Tech Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 10 hours (19:30 - 06:00) Experience: Minimum of 3 years required; first-timers accepted License: Required Certifications: BLS, ARRT (R)(CT) Must-Have: Must be able to start peripheral IVs independently Description: Must be able to start peripheral IVs. Schedule is Monday through Thursday. Inpatient and outpatient work settings are required. Follow provided protocols and policies to perform CT scans on inpatient, emergency room, and outpatient patients. Start IVs and consent patients as required. Maintain a positive and productive work environment with the current team of technologists, nurses, doctors, and transporters. Facility has 4 rooms with an average caseload of 12-24 patients per day. This facility is a Level 3 Trauma Client with 237 beds and 59 treatment areas in the emergency department. The patient population ranges from neonates to geriatrics. Up to 4 on-call days may be assigned with prior notice. Work on Siemens and Philips CT scanners, electronic medical records, and PACS systems. The scrub color is gray. Staff may be required to float within the facility or practice as needed. If a major holiday falls within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall during the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both holidays. If three major holidays fall during the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of those holidays. Compliance is required to start on time. Failure to comply in time will result in a delay. Candidates will be reviewed to determine clinical fit and suitability. Local candidates will be accepted.
