Job Title: MRI Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: MRI Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: 2+ years of experience preferred License: Must have a valid state license or compact license Certifications: BLS, ARRT Must-Have: No prior license or background hits; GE experience preferred; travel experience is a plus Description: Chesapeake is located in a beautiful area known for its outdoor activities. It offers trails for all levels of hikers and over 20 waterways to explore. There are 4x10 shifts from Monday to Thursday with rotation on call and weekends. Candidates must have 2+ years of experience. BLS and ARRT certifications are required. Experience with GE systems is preferred. Travel experience is also a plus. The facility will not consider candidates with any prior license or background hits. Candidates must not have a history of fit test issues. Electronic charting experience is required. The facility operates within a radius compliance rule; current address must be included with the application. Modules totaling 3 hours are required to be completed prior to starting. The facility does not provide study material for the competency exam. Candidates must pass the exam on the first attempt with a score of 80% or higher. The patient age groups served include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. The unit consists of 2 MRI rooms.
