Travel MRI Tech - $2,448 to $2,648 per week in Somerville, NJ

Jackson HealthPros is thrilled to welcome an experienced MRI Technologist to our team to accurately interpret a physician’s scanning instructions, prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, and expertly operate MRI scanners to create diagnostic images.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification required upon start.
• BLS certification required upon start.
• Minimum 1.5 years of MRI technologist experience. Preferred 2 years of experience noted.
• Experience with inpatient, outpatient, and emergency room patient populations.
• Experience operating GE 450W and GE Signa Excite MRI scanners preferred.
• Ability to perform a full spectrum of MRI studies. Cardiac MRI is not performed onsite.
• Familiarity with EPIC charting preferred.
• Ability to adhere to unit scrub color policy: black.

Assignment Details:

• Facility type: Hospital.
• Shift name: Mid Shift.
• Shift schedule: Mid 5x8-Hour, 13:30–22:00. Specific weekly pattern includes Tuesdays & Thursdays 13:30–22:00, Wednesdays & Fridays 14:30–22:00, and Saturday 07:30–18:00.
• Case volume: Approximately 15 cases per day.
• On-call requirements: One 8.5-hour day per week and one 24-hour weekend every five weeks.
• Locals accepted.
• Block scheduling may be an option; discuss during interview.
