Job Title: MRI Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: MRI Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 8 hours (12:30 PM - 9:00 PM) Experience: Minimum of 2 years of MRI experience License: BLS Certifications: ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT Must-Have: General MRI exams, implants, elastography, defecography, breast, and cardiac experience Description: The Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (MRI Technologist) performs high-quality MRI examinations. This is done in accordance with established protocols on patient populations for physician interpretation. The technologist reports to the site supervisor and manager of radiology. Other duties may be assigned as necessary. The technologist will work Monday through Friday, 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM. Alternative scheduling options include 4x10s or 3x12s. Weekend coverage is required on Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The technologist will work 40 hours during the weeks without Saturday coverage. During weeks with Saturday coverage, the technologist will work four 8-hour shifts Monday through Friday and one 8-hour shift on Saturday. Clienttion badge must be provided by the agency. Experience with Siemens equipment is required, while familiarity with Sectra and Epic is preferred. Travelers should be aware of possible assignments to emergency response teams during hurricane season. This season runs from June through November. The peak months for hurricane activity are August and September.
