Job Title: MRI Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: MRI Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 (09:30 - 20:00) Experience: Minimum 1 year of inpatient acute care experience License: State License required Certifications: ARRT MR, BLS Must-Have: Experience in MRI imaging and related procedures Proficiency in the use of Epic for charting Description: The MRI Tech will float between units as necessary. On-call duty is not required. Weekends are required, specifically Saturday evenings. Block scheduling is necessary. The expected patient ratio is 1:1. Most shifts will occur on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 09:30 AM to 08:00 PM. Evening shifts may involve staying late for late STAT add-ons from the emergency department or inpatient services. There may be variability in the schedule to cover PTO. The facility is a short-term acute care environment. Staffing includes various interdisciplinary teams and support services. The role involves working with a diverse patient population and performing various MRI procedures. All necessary equipment and resources will be provided for the role. Candidates should be flexible and prepared to assist as needed within the facility. Must have a reliable vehicle for this assignment. Providers may also be expected to float to nearby facilities if required.
