Job Title: MRI Technician
Department: 7270V MRI – MRI Tech

Location: Lawrenceville 30046
Assignment Duration: 13 Weeks

• Thursday – Sunday
• 9:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Nights | 4x10s | 40 Hours/Week
• Some call required

• Minimum 2 years of recent experience within specialty required
• AHA BLS certification required
• ARRT (MRI) certification required
• No local candidates within 50 miles

The MRI Technician is responsible for performing high-quality MRI imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety and comfort during overnight shifts. The technologist will work collaboratively with radiologists and healthcare staff to provide accurate diagnostic imaging services.

Key responsibilities include:

• Performing MRI procedures according to physician orders and departmental protocols
• Preparing and positioning patients for imaging exams
• Monitoring patient safety and comfort throughout procedures
• Operating and maintaining MRI equipment to ensure optimal image quality
• Accurately documenting patient information and imaging records
• Responding to on-call responsibilities as needed
• Maintaining compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and imaging regulations
