Job Title: MRI Technologist Profession: Radiology Specialty: MRI Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (12:30 PM - 9:00 PM) Experience: Minimum 2 years of MRI experience required License: BLS preferred Certifications: ARRT (MR) required Must-Have: General MRI examinations Experience with implants Knowledge of elastography, defecography, breast, and cardiac MRI Description: The MRI Technologist reports to the site supervisor and manager of radiology. Under general supervision, the MRI Technologist performs high-quality MRI examinations in accordance with established protocols. Examinations are conducted on patient populations for physician interpretation. Additional duties may be assigned as necessary. This position may offer flexible scheduling options, including 4x10s or 3x12s. Saturday shifts may be required. Potential float between specified locations is possible. Clienttion badges are required and must be provided by the agency. Candidates must comply with specific submission guidelines. Local candidates will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Candidates must have a South Carolina license in hand or proof that they have applied for the license. Travelers should be aware of emergency response assignments during hurricane season. All laboratories must be completed within specified timeframes prior to the start date.
