Travel MRI Tech - $2,516 per week in Atlanta, GA

Job Title: MRI Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: MRI Tech Duration: 16 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: 1 year License: GA or Compact license required Certifications: ARRT MR, ARRT R, BLS Must-Have: - Basic MRI knowledge and experience - Ability to work in a transplant facility - Strong communication skills Description: Unit is a transplant facility and a primary stroke center. The role involves heavy MRI/MRA work. Schedule is Thursday to Sunday. On-call required: 1 call weekend every 6 weeks. Floating within the facility and outpatient is required as needed. Clinical candidate review is required to determine fit. Compliance is fully required to start on time. If not compliant in time, the pushback is 2 weeks due to the bi-weekly orientation schedule. Local candidates accepted at the same rate. Holiday requirements apply: if one major holiday falls during the assignment, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both holidays. If three major holidays fall during the assignment, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays. Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve/New Year’s Day. The candidate must be flexible with scheduling and ready to work in diverse settings. Modules are non-billable and are factored into the hours. All compliance documents are due Tuesday prior to the start. Modules are completed during orientation and vary by specialty. The candidate will be expected to demonstrate proficiency in MRI techniques and patient care. Good patient rapport and collaboration with the healthcare team are essential.
