Short : Days: Every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday = 30 hours per week Time: 6:30am-5pm Location: Stony Brook Southampton Hospital 240 Meeting House Lane, Southampton, NY *Must work holidays as needed* *Housing accommodations are also available* Complete EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: - High School Graduate or equivalent. - Graduate of an accredited Radiology Program - ARRT/NYSDOH License required. - BLS required. - Certified to do contract injections. - Specialized training in MRI Technology and cross-sectional anatomy. POSITION SUMMARY: Demonstrate proficiency in performing MRI imaging exams for all ages and adhere to safety procedures. RESPONSIBILITIES: - MRI Tech operates the MRI equipment, prepares patients for procedures, and ensures that enough information has been obtained to make a diagnosis, assist in the management of patients and present images to the physician for diagnosis. - Intravenous therapy/contrast selection and injection. - Prepare and enter written documentation as required by the department, such as informed consent.
