Job Title: MRI Technologist Profession: Radiology/Cardiology Specialty: MRI Tech Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 07:00 - 17:30 Experience: 1 Year Required License: Pending License Accepted (Manager's Discretion) Certifications: BLS Required; ARRT Preferred Must-Have: Outpatient and inpatient experience. Experience with contrast administration. EPIC experience required. GE equipment experience preferred. Description: The MRI Technologist will work a 4x10 shift from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with a rotating day off each week. Nights, weekends, and holiday coverage will be required on-call. The daily caseload will consist of approximately 15 patients. A minimum of 1 year of experience is required. First-time travelers are accepted. The traveler may be required to participate in weekend call rotation. The on-call requirement is 1-2 nights per week and every 4th or 5th weekend, depending on staffing. Floating is not required within the facility. Travelers are not accepted if they reside within a 70-mile radius. Requested time off should be communicated upfront when possible. Travelers may be required to participate in holiday and weekend rotations. Candidates must possess outpatient and inpatient experience, preferably dealing with pediatric and adult patients. BLS certification is required, and ARRT certification is strongly preferred. Experience with the EPIC charting system is mandatory, while familiarity with GE equipment is advantageous. Travelers must comply with specific grooming requirements for mask fitting. Candidates should be aware that personal PAPRs or CAPRs are not permitted. Travelers must complete an OSHA respirator clearance prior to start. All clinicians cannot work as travelers for more than one year without taking a six-month break.
