Location: Grant Medical Center (Columbus, Ohio) Position: MRI Technologist Shift: Day(0730-1930); every 3rd weekend; holidays as assigned Call: 3 weekday day shifts per month and 1 weekend call every 12 weeks Minimum Requirements (4043): Minimum of 2 years of experience for travelers (will review travelers with 1.5yrs if strong Level I/large hospital experience) Must have experience with Siemens scanners ARRT American Registry or Radiologic Technologists or NMTCB Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board BLS Certification Cardiac Experience is a major plus Experience with IV Starts strongly preferred for this role Facility Info: Unit has (2) 1.5T Siemen's Aera scanners. We perform neuro, MSK and abdominal scans. "Specialty" exams include breasts, enterography and patients with pacemakers. We do not perform cardiac, prostate, CSF flow studies or MSA extremities. We have an MRI safe ventilator (stored in ICU) & an MRI safe IVAC along with MRI safe monitoring equipment. ICU patients are scanned regularly. We do not perform conscious sedation. EPIC EMR, charcoal grey scrubs.
