Job Title: MRI Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: MRI Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Mid 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM Experience: Minimum of 1 year required License: State License preferred Certifications: ARRT MR, BLS Must-Have: - Previous charge experience preferred - Epic charting system experience preferred - Trauma Level II experience required Description: The MRI Tech will perform magnetic resonance imaging procedures. The schedule includes Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. The off days are Tuesday, Saturday, and Sunday. Evening shifts will run from 2:00 PM to 12:30 AM. The tech will participate in on-call rotation every nine weeks, one week at a time. Required certifications include ARRT MR and BLS. Previous travel experience is preferred. The role involves interacting with patients of all age groups, including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. The position will require the use of specialized MRI equipment and adherence to safety protocols. Interdisciplinary support is available, including interpretation services and rapid response teams. The MRI Tech will be responsible for performing various MRI examinations and ensuring patient comfort during procedures. Skills and experience in specific anatomical imaging will be beneficial. A willingness to travel and work in different environments is expected. The tech must be prepared to administer contrast media as necessary for specific procedures.
