Travel MRI Tech - $2,721 to $2,921 per week in Sacramento, CA

Jackson HealthPros is thrilled to welcome an experienced MRI Tech to our team to accurately interpret a physician’s scanning instructions, prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, and expertly operate MRI scanners to create diagnostic images.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification (MR and R preferred per client requirement).
• California Radiologic Technologist state license required.
• BLS (AHA) certification required.
• Certification as MRI Technologist - ARRT (MR) required.
• Certification as Radiologic Technologist - ARRT (R) required.
• Experience working on GE short bore MRI systems or equivalent is preferred.
• Experience with electronic charting in Cerner preferred.
• Minimum 2 years' experience as an MRI Technologist preferred.
• Must provide two supervisor references at time of submission: one within the past 12 months and one within the past 3 years.
• Candidates may not have been directly employed (FT, PT, or PRN) by any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity, within the past year. PRN employment through outside firms will be considered.
• Preferred certifications: ARRT (CT), Fluoro permit.

Assignment Details

• Facility Type: Hospital.
• Unit: MRI.
• Shift Name: Days.
• Shift Pattern: 12-hour days, Fri–Sat–Sun, 0700–1930 start time per unit director.
• Call Requirement: Required. Eight call shifts per month covering 1900–0700 with a 30-minute response time when placed on call.
• Orientation: 12 hours.
• Charting System: Cerner.
• Equipment: GE short bore MRI system with 24x software.
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks beginning late May (start date provided by client).
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week.
• Cancellation Policy: Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts for a 13-week assignment; fewer cancellations apply for shorter assignments.
