MRI Technologist | Roles & Responsibilities
Perform high-quality MRI examinations according to physician orders and imaging protocols.
Prepare, screen, and position patients for MRI procedures while ensuring comfort and safety.
Operate MRI equipment and adjust imaging parameters to obtain diagnostic-quality images.
Monitor patients during procedures and respond appropriately to any adverse reactions or emergencies.
Maintain accurate patient records and document imaging procedures in the EMR/PACS.
Follow MRI safety standards, infection control practices, and departmental policies.
Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and the healthcare team to provide quality patient care.
Ensure proper maintenance and quality control of MRI equipment.
Required Documents / Certifications
Active ARRT (MR) Certification or equivalent MRI Technologist credential (as required by the facility/state)
Active State License (if required)
BLS Certification
MRI Technologist experience
Ability to work afternoon shifts (2:30 PM – 11:00 PM)
