Travel MRI Tech - $2,737 to $2,937 per week in Boston, MA

Jackson HealthPros is thrilled to welcome an experienced MRI Tech to our team to accurately interpret a physician’s scanning instructions, prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, and expertly operate MRI scanners to create diagnostic images.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification with MR credential (ARRT(MR)).
• State licensure for MRI technologists in Massachusetts.
• BLS certification.
• Minimum 2 years' experience as an MRI Technologist, preferably in an acute care hospital or high-volume imaging center.
• Experience operating 1.5T and 3.0T MRI scanners and familiarity with standard MRI protocols (brain, spine, MSK, body) and contrast administration procedures.
• Ability to work scheduled weekend and weekday shifts as required by the department.
• Excellent patient communication skills and experience working with diverse patient populations, including pediatric and bariatric patients preferred.

Preferred:

• Advanced MRI certifications or specialty training in neuro or MSK imaging preferred.
• Experience with PACS, EPIC or other electronic medical record systems preferred.

Assignment Details

• Facility type: Hospital
• Shift: Mid Shift, 1100-2330 (3 x 12-hour shifts, 11:00 AM–11:30 PM)
• Schedule to include weekday and weekend hours
• No on-call requirements
• Travel assignment length: 26 weeks
