Job Title: MRI Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: MRI Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours (07:00 - 19:30) Experience: Minimum 1 year required License: VA or compact state must be in hand at the time of submission Certifications: ARRT R, BLS Must-Have: - EPIC charting experience required - Minimum 2 years of charge experience preferred - Patient community hospital experience preferred - Trauma level I experience required Description: The MRI Tech will be responsible for performing various MRI procedures. They will work with adult and geriatric patient populations. The patient diagnoses include routine MRI workups, new diagnoses of cancer, and follow-up treatment exams. MR imaging will also include cases with anesthesia assistance. The facility operates MRI services 7 days a week. The MRI area is equipped with multiple MRI scanners utilizing Siemens technology. Candidates should be familiar with a variety of imaging modalities, including neuro, body imaging, and cardiac imaging. Interdisciplinary support will be available as needed. Candidates will be expected to float within scope if required. All candidates must adhere to safety and compliance regulations. Completion of required modules during the orientation period is expected. It is essential for candidates to maintain a professional appearance and follow all posted policies. A natural nail policy is enforced. Candidates may be subject to background checks as part of the hiring process.
