This role is ideal for a dedicated professional with a minimum of one year MRI experience, ready to provide comprehensive imaging services. Key Responsibilities of the MRI Technologist- Perform MRI procedures, adhering to safety protocols and understanding MRI safety
- Set up suction and operate O2 equipment
- Handle critical and vented patients with support from ICU RNs and RTs
- Administer contrast and place patients on MR tele as necessary
- Implement IV skills if working during the day shift
- Employ critical thinking skills and maintain punctuality
Requirements of the MRI Technologist- Valid BLS and ARRT-MR certifications
- At least 1 year of MRI experience
- Proficiency in handling a range of patient diagnoses
