Unit Information:
o Beds: 1 MRI Suite
Census? Average patients/day? Sat/Sun 9 per day, Weekdays 17 per day
o Minimum Years of Experience required? 2+ years of experience
o Will you accept a first-time traveler? No
Patient Types/Common Diagnoses:
o Inpatient, Outpatient, mostly adults
o Neuro, spine, tumor work ups, cord compression, cardiac imaging, breast, enterography, abdominal, whole body, ortho, spectroscopy
Required License, National Certification, Certs:
o BLS, ARRT-MR
Skills required:
o Experience with above case types. Send for manager approval if candidate is lacking any of them
o Hard Stops: IV starts
o EPIC experience required
Support within the Department:
o RT at hospital
o Imaging Assistant
o Additional Techs multiple teammates staffed during weekday, 1 MRI Tech + assistant on weekends
o Hospitalist 24/7
Technology/Equipment:
o EMR: EPIC - required
o PACS: Change Healthcare
o Unit specific equipment: Siemens Aera MRI

Orientation (facility and unit):
o NEO
o 1 shift of unit orientation
Scheduling:
o Weekend rotation: Refer to requisition for schedule; could be every weekend depending on requisition
o On call? No
o Holiday Expectations: could be scheduled for some holidays
o Approval of RTO: to go through manager
o Shift times: Refer to requisition
o Schedule cycle: Schedule made quarterly and will be available a few weeks-months prior to quarter beginning
