Job Title: MRI Technologist Profession: MRI Tech Specialty: Radiology Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: CRT Diagnostic Radiologic Technology Certifications: ARRT MRI Must-Have: Experience with GE scanner Ability to work the night shift independently Experience in Inpatient, ICU, and stroke center Venipuncture experience Description: The unit has approximately 400 beds. It is staffed by 13 personnel. The unit operates with a day shift of 2 techs, a mid shift of 1 tech, a PM shift of 1 tech, and a night shift of 1 tech. This position is for the night shift from 11 PM to 7:30 AM. Patient ratios are not applicable. The unit is equipped with 3T GE Signa Premier and 1.5T GE Signa Explorer. The EMR systems utilized are Meditech and GE PACS. Typical procedures performed include Neuro and Extremities - Ortho. The ideal candidate should be easy-going, able to multitask, organized, and a team player. There are no floating responsibilities or call requirements. Candidates lacking the must-have skills will not be considered for the role.
