Job Title: MRI Technologist Profession: Technologist Specialty: MRI Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Sunday - Wednesday Hours per Shift: 10.5 hours Experience: 5 years in a hospital setting as an MRI technologist License: Graduate of an AMA approved program of Radiologic Technology Certifications: Active American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), Active American Health Association BLS Must-Have: Siemens MAGNETOM Sola Expert Experience, Venipuncture Certification (must be willing to obtain) Description: Under the direction of the Director of Radiology, the MRI Technologist is responsible for performing duties directly involving a variety of technical procedures related to Magnetic Resonance Imaging. This position works at a technical level under limited supervision, independently performing MRI procedures. Procedures performed require independent judgment and initiative as well as a comprehensive understanding of MRI safety. Toshiba and Cerner experience is preferred. Travel experience is highly preferred.
