Description

American Traveler is hiring a night shift MRI Technologist requiring 5+ years of MRI experience and ARRT(MR) certification for a hospital-based radiology position.

Details

  • Hospital-based MRI department serving the Paramus campus
  • Night shift, 4x10 hours, Wednesday-Saturday from 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM
  • Every 3rd weekend required
  • Uses Philips and New Lantern PACS systems, with Meditech as the RIS
  • Requires experience with Siemens and GE MRI scanners
  • May be required to float to the Ridgewood Observation Unit as needed

Requirements

  • ARRT(MR) certification required
  • ARRT(R) and BLS certifications required
  • Minimum of 5 years of MRI experience required
  • Siemens and GE scanner experience required
  • NJ State License required if applicable
  • Proof of completed COVID-19 vaccination series and booster required
  • One supervisory/manager reference dated within one year of assignment start required

Additional Information

  • Perform a broad range of MRI procedures including abdomen/pelvis, head/neck, chest, musculoskeletal, and cardiovascular imaging
  • Perform specialized imaging techniques such as MRA, MRV, MRCP, diffusion imaging, and image post-processing
  • Prepare and administer contrast media as needed
  • Adhere to isolation precautions, PPE, and radiation safety protocols
  • Prior permanent employees of the facility are not eligible for this travel assignment
  • Local candidates within 75 miles are accepted at the local rate
