MRI Technologist – Radiology/Cardiology

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts | Monday 10:30 AM–11:00 PM and Saturday–Sunday 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
Key Responsibilities- Perform MRI scanning procedures on both inpatient and outpatient populations
- Operate GE 3T Discovery 750W as the primary imaging system
- Scan on Siemens Sola 1.5T as needed based on departmental requirements
- Manage a weekend caseload consisting predominantly of outpatient studies and a Monday caseload of mixed inpatient and outpatient studies
- Adhere to all facility compliance, safety, and imaging protocols
Required Qualifications- Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in MRI as the applying specialty
- Active, permanent Ohio MRI/Radiology license in hand at time of submission (compact licenses accepted for starts dated 1/1/2023 and forward)
- All required certifications must be active with nothing pending
- One supervisory reference (manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director) in the MRI specialty required for submission
- Must be nicotine-free; negative 10-panel plus nicotine (cotinine) drug screen required within 12 months of start, updated annually
- Must be able to complete BCI/FBI fingerprinting within 48 hours of contract signing
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience operating both GE and Siemens MRI platforms
- Prior travel MRI technologist experience in a high-volume hospital setting
