Schedule / Job TypeContract | Nights | 4x10-hour shifts | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Perform a high volume of MRI studies averaging 30 scans per day, including musculoskeletal imaging, basic neuro, abdominal/pelvic imaging, radiation oncology, and breast imaging
- Operate Siemens MRI scanners within a department housing up to 4 total scanners, including a mobile unit
- Manage and care for a diverse patient population including pacer and anesthesia patients, as well as ICU and NICU patients
- Start and manage intravenous (IV) access as required for contrast studies
- Utilize PACS and EMR systems to document and manage imaging studies
- Adhere to department dress code requirements including black scrubs with black or gray jacket or undershirt
Required Qualifications- Active ARRT certification (MRI)
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year of MRI experience
- Hands-on experience with Siemens MRI equipment
- Ability to perform IV starts independently
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience with Philips MRI equipment
- Prior travel MRI technologist experience
- Level II or higher trauma center experience
