    Job Title

    MRI Technologist

    Location

    Albany, GA

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Mid Shift (shift start times between 8:00 AM and 12:00 PM) | 4x10-hour shifts

    Key Responsibilities
    • Perform a high volume of MRI studies (approximately 30 per day) including musculoskeletal imaging, basic neuro, abdominal/pelvic imaging, radiation oncology, and breast imaging
    • Operate Siemens MRI scanners and support transition to an additional Philips scanner
    • Care for a diverse patient population including inpatients, outpatients, ICU, NICU, pacer, and anesthesia patients
    • Start and manage IV access as required for contrast studies
    • Utilize PACS (McKesson/Change Healthcare) and Meditech EMR systems for image management and documentation
    • Work within a department of 4 scanners; agency staff will cover 2 scanners as well as potential mobile unit assignments
    Required Qualifications
    • Active ARRT certification (MRI)
    • Current BLS certification
    • Minimum 1 year of MRI technologist experience
    • Proficiency with Siemens MRI equipment
    • Ability to perform IV insertions independently
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience with Philips MRI equipment strongly preferred
    • Prior travel technologist experience preferred
    • Level II or Level I trauma center experience is a strong plus
