Travel MRI Technologist

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Rotating Shifts (9:30 AM – 6:00 PM / 12:30 PM – 9:00 PM) | Projected Start: 07/27/2026

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a wide variety of routine and advanced MRI imaging procedures for inpatients, ER patients, ICU patients, and outpatients.
  • Ensure completed exams are accurately scanned and stored in PACS; follow downtime procedures and escalate issues to the PACS administrator as needed.
  • Troubleshoot basic equipment maintenance issues and report malfunctions to appropriate personnel with timely follow-up.
  • Adapt patient assessment and care methods to accommodate the unique physical, psychosocial, cultural, and age-specific needs of each patient.
  • Participate in quality assurance activities, ongoing education, and safety initiatives within scope of licensure.
  • Demonstrate flexibility by working alternate shifts and supporting patient throughput across the department as needed.
Required Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or an accepted and approved equivalent program.
  • Active ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (American Heart Association only).
  • Minimum of 1 year of MRI experience in a hospital or clinical setting.
  • Proficiency with Epic EMR and Sectra PACS required.
  • Basic computer skills required.
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Experience working with inpatient, ER, and ICU patient populations.
  • Familiarity with PACS Superuser responsibilities and image archiving systems.
