Key Responsibilities- Perform a variety of MRI procedures under limited supervision, exercising independent judgment and initiative
- Apply comprehensive knowledge of MRI safety protocols to protect patients and staff throughout all procedures
- Operate MRI equipment proficiently, including advanced scanner systems, to produce diagnostic-quality imaging
- Administer contrast agents via venipuncture in accordance with established clinical protocols
- Collaborate with the Radiology department to provide imaging services to inpatients, outpatients, and emergency room patients of all ages
Required Qualifications- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an MRI Technologist in a hospital setting
- Graduate of an AMA-approved program in Radiologic Technology
- Active American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association
- Siemens MAGNETOM Sola Expert experience
- Venipuncture certification (or willingness to obtain prior to start)
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience with Toshiba imaging systems
- Familiarity with Cerner electronic health records
- Prior travel/contract assignment experience
