    MRI Technologist

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Nights | 3x12 (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) | 19:00–07:00

    Key Responsibilities
    • Perform MRI imaging procedures on adult and pediatric patients in an acute care setting, including ICU and ER populations
    • Operate MRI equipment in accordance with facility protocols and safety standards
    • Collaborate with a team that includes overlapping technologist coverage and an MRI-safety-trained patient transporter during shift
    • Maintain accurate documentation and imaging records in compliance with facility requirements
    • Float to nearby sister facilities as needed per assignment requirements
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Washington State MRI License with MRI designation required
    • ARRT (MR) certification required
    • BLS certification required
    • Minimum of 1 year of MRI experience; first-time travelers accepted
    • Experience in Adult and Pediatric Acute Care, ICU, and ER settings required
    • Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be considered as a traveler (locals may be considered at a different rate)
    • Candidates who have previously worked at an affiliated Providence facility as a permanent employee must have been separated from the health system for a minimum of 3 months to qualify
    • Must commit to working 3 of the following 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day
    • All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront at time of submittal
    • 2 professional references covering at least 1 year within the last 3 years required prior to start
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • 2 or more years of MRI technologist experience
    • Prior travel contract experience in an acute care environment
    • Familiarity with high-acuity patient populations including ICU and emergency department patients
