    MRI Technologist

    Contract | Full-Time | Days | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Operate MRI imaging equipment, including GE Lightspeed 16/MR, GE Signa LX (Closed), and Hitachi Airis Elite (Open), to produce high-quality diagnostic images across various body areas including advanced study regions.
    • Interview and prepare patients by explaining MRI procedures, addressing concerns, and maintaining a high degree of tact, courtesy, and professionalism.
    • Ensure patient safety through pre-screening for contraindications and adherence to aseptic injection techniques.
    • Communicate effectively with customers and radiologists to support diagnostic workflow.
    • Troubleshoot scanners, coils, monitors, PACS, and peripheral equipment to minimize downtime; escalate complex issues to appropriate personnel as needed.
    • Train and provide direction to new technologists and patient coordinators as an experienced onsite team member.
    Required Qualifications
    • High School Diploma or GED required.
    • ARRT (MR) certification required.
    • AHA BLS certification required.
    • Technical proficiency operating designated vendor MRI scanning equipment.
    • Ability to run advanced MR studies independently in a self-directed environment.
    • Valid state driver's license as applicable; local travel may be required.
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Associate's Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
    • Minimum of 1 year of MRI experience in a high-volume environment.
    • Previous experience managing customer interactions independently and resolving issues to mutual satisfaction.
    • Demonstrated ability to explain complex medical terms and procedures in a clear, patient-friendly manner.
