Job Title

MRI Technician / Radiology – Travel Contract

Las Cruces, New Mexico

Contract (13 Weeks) | Full-Time | Onsite | Days – 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Monday through Wednesday | On-call rotation required (after-hours and weekends: approximately 1 day per week and 1 weekend per month)

• Provide timely MRI imaging services to both inpatient and outpatient populations under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols
• Adjust and optimize imaging parameters to study soft tissue, arterial system, brain, spine, joints, and extremities
• Perform MRI procedures with and without the use of contrast media
• Participate in after-hours and weekend on-call rotation as scheduled
• Maintain accurate documentation and imaging records within the facility EMR system (Medhost)

• Minimum 2 years of MRI Technologist experience required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Magnetic Resonance Technology (MRT) certification required
• Active New Mexico Radiologic Technology license required
• Ability to accommodate a set schedule (blocked schedules and 48-hour guarantee shifts cannot be accommodated)

• Graduate of an AMA-accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) with Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) registry
• Experience with Siemens MRI equipment
