Description
Job Summary:
-Performs MRI studies under the direction of a radiologist and oversight of a senior MRI Technologist.
-This individual interacts with imaging staff, nursing, physicians, patients and visitors.
-Acts as a resource person for MRI technical, and other issues, and demonstrates competence according to specific guidelines and prescribed protocols.
-Operates MRI and related equipment, prepares scan room -equipment, supplies and medications.
-This individual also maintains images and archives associated with patient data.
-Other duties as assigned.

Friday 1430-2200
Sat-Sun 0630-1830
one pay period will be 30hrs and the other is 34
hrs

Skills: Required Skills & Experience:
-Ability and demonstrated competence in IV insertion and contrast injection.
-Ability to assimilate new procedures into work routine is required.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
-A minimum of one (1) year of clinical experience.

-Graduate of an JRCERT approved two (2) year or four (4) year of radiologic technology, nuclear medicine program, or MRI program is required.
Preferred Education:
-NA
Required Certifications & Licensure:
-ARRT and/or ARMRIT Registry is required through JRCERT approved education program.
-Advanced Certification through ARRT in ARRT-MR is required within 18 months of hire.
-American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) is required.
Preferred Certifications & Licensure:
