Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialized MRI procedures for inpatients, outpatients, and emergency department patients of all ages
• Verify physician orders, consult with radiologists as necessary, and prepare patients for exams by explaining procedures and providing appropriate education
• Perform all MRI studies and administer contrast media utilizing age-related technical and positioning protocols in accordance with department policy
• Evaluate MRI images for technical quality and assist radiologists with MR procedures as requested
• Operate and maintain MRI equipment and associated supplies, including performing equipment warm-up, calibration, and safety checks
• Adhere to MRI safety standards and report any equipment malfunctions to the supervisor

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent GE MRI experience (required)
• Active ARRT Certification (required)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required)
• Ability to maintain standards consistent with ARRT guidelines

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working with patients across a broad age range including pediatric and emergency department populations
• Familiarity with hospital computer systems and equipment quality control procedures
