    MRI Technologist

    Location

    Peoria, IL

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Night Shift | Onsite | 8-Hour Shifts (10:00 PM – 6:30 AM) | 1 Weekend Per Month Required | Holiday Coverage Possible

    Key Responsibilities
    • Perform MRI scanning procedures for outpatient, inpatient, and emergency department patients
    • Operate GE MRI scanners (1.5T and 3T) using standard acquisition sequences
    • Adhere to MRI safety guidelines and department protocols throughout all procedures
    • Start and manage intravenous (IV) lines as required for contrast administration
    • Document and manage imaging data using Epic EMR and PACS systems
    • Collaborate with MRI Tech assistants and department staff across assigned shifts
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Illinois MRI Technologist license (or application process initiated)
    • ARRT certification with MR specialty certification (RTR MR)
    • Current BLS certification
    • Demonstrated knowledge of MRI safety guidelines and standard scanning protocols
    • Proficiency operating GE MRI scanners (1.5T and 3T)
    • Ability to start IVs independently
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Prior experience with Epic EMR and PACS systems
    • Familiarity with GE 450W and 750W scanner platforms
    • Experience working in a high-volume radiology environment serving inpatient, outpatient, and ED populations
