Perform MRI procedures according to established protocols to obtain diagnostic information as ordered by the physician
Demonstrate understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, contrast agents, MRI safety, and medical terminology while maintaining a high degree of accuracy in positioning and technique
Prepare and administer contrast at the direction of the radiologist in accordance with state and federal guidelines
Ensure delivery of quality care in a safe environment for infant through adult patients
Remain sensitive to the physical, cultural, and emotional needs of patients through effective communication, patient assessment, monitoring, and care skills in a non-judgmental and nondiscriminatory manner
Apply independent, professional, and ethical judgment along with critical thinking in the performance of duties
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
Completion of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program or MRI certificate program
