Contract | Days | Part-Time | Onsite | 16 hours per week (two 8-hour shifts); every other Saturday and Sunday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Perform MRI studies following protocols established by Radiologists
- Operate the MRI scanner to produce images of consistent optimal quality
- Prepare the scan room and equipment appropriately prior to each procedure
- Position patients, coils, and equipment as required for each study
- Maintain clear and supportive communication with patients throughout the scanning procedure
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Completion of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program or MRI certificate program required
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist
- ARRT Registered Technologist (R) certification required
- ARRT Registered Technologist (MR) certification required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Minimum 1 year of experience in CT or MRI imaging
