Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Nights (2:30 PM – 11:00 PM) | 5×8s, 40 hrs/week

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures according to established protocols to obtain diagnostic information as ordered by the physician
• Demonstrate a high degree of accuracy in patient positioning and imaging technique
• Prepare and administer contrast agents at the direction of the radiologist in accordance with state and federal guidelines
• Ensure delivery of quality care in a safe environment for infant through adult patients
• Assess, monitor, and communicate with patients in a non-judgmental and nondiscriminatory manner, remaining sensitive to physical, cultural, and emotional needs
• Apply independent, professional, and ethical judgment along with critical thinking in the performance of all duties

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an approved AMA Radiologic Technology program or MRI certificate program
• ARRT Registration: Registered Technologist (R)(MR) required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, contrast agents, MRI safety, and medical terminology

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior hands-on experience in a clinical MRI setting
• Familiarity with a broad patient population ranging from infants to adults
• Commitment to continuing education and lifelong learning in MRI technology
