MRI Technologist

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts | Monday–Friday | 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
Key Responsibilities- Perform a wide range of MRI examinations including brain, spine, musculoskeletal, abdominal, pelvic, breast, and vascular studies (MRA/MRV/MRCP)
- Operate a Siemens Espree 1.5T large bore MRI system and BRACCO power injector
- Prepare and administer contrast media and start peripheral IVs as required
- Apply advanced imaging techniques including Gradient Echo, Spin Echo, Diffusion, MIP, Multiplanar Reconstruction, and Surface Coils
- Adhere to isolation precautions and PPE protocols to ensure patient and staff safety
- Document and chart patient information accurately using the facility's electronic health record system
Required Qualifications- Minimum of 2 years of MRI technologist experience, with significant hands-on clinical experience
- Active New York State license required and must be in hand at time of submission
- BLS certification required
- EPIC electronic health record experience is a hard requirement
- Proficiency across a broad range of MRI protocols including neurological, musculoskeletal, abdominal, pelvic, vascular, and spinal imaging
- Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior travel technologist experience preferred; first-time travelers with significant MRI experience will be considered
- Familiarity with Siemens MRI platform, particularly large bore systems
- Experience with adult acute care settings and spinal trauma imaging
