Schedule / Job TypeContract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | 3x12-hour shifts, rotating days of the week, varied shifts including potential graveyard hours | On-site | Call required
Key Responsibilities- Produce diagnostic MRI scans in a high-volume, fast-paced clinical environment
- Assist radiologists and referring physicians during MRI procedures
- Ensure patient safety and quality care across all age groups, from infant through geriatric
- Make independent technical decisions to achieve optimal MRI image quality
- Operate various MRI scanning equipment and hospital computer systems proficiently
- Participate in after-hours standby, callback, call shifts, and may be required to work major holidays and additional shifts as needed
Required Qualifications- Active ARRT certification required
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
- Minimum of 2 years of MRI experience
- Experience with GE or Philips MRI scanners required
- Ability to float to other areas of the department up to competency level
Preferred Experience / Skills- ARRT advanced certification in MRI (R.T., R.M.R.I.T.) preferred
- Prior experience in a high-volume trauma center or similarly fast-paced imaging environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to manage simultaneous demands professionally and courteously
