Job Title

MRI Technologist – Overnight

Contract | Sunday–Thursday, 10:00 PM–6:30 AM | Includes holidays, on-call, and callback per unit needs

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and safe scanning environment in compliance with facility standards
• Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging and ensure timely delivery of results
• Prepare patients for MRI scans and explain procedures to promote comfort and cooperation
• Insert IVs when necessary; injection certification required
• Document all procedures while maintaining strict confidentiality of patient information
• Perform patient care tasks as needed throughout the shift

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years of MRI Technologist experience
• ARRT certification (MRI) required
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association required
• GE scanner experience required to be considered
• Injection certification required to be considered
• NYS Radiologic Technology license required; candidates must be willing to obtain after start if not already held

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Level 1 Trauma Center experience
• Associate degree in Magnetic Resonance Imaging or Radiology
• Familiarity with medical terminology and ability to stand for extended periods
