Contract | Nights | 3 x 12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Weekends required | Holiday coverage required (Christmas) | No call
Key Responsibilities
- Perform MRI imaging procedures in a high-acuity hospital environment
- Operate Siemens 1.5T and 3T MRI systems (Aera, Sola, Skyra, Vida) as well as Philips MRI equipment
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout imaging procedures
- Maintain compliance with imaging protocols and departmental standards
- Collaborate with clinical staff to support patient care in a Level 1 Trauma setting
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of MRI experience in a Level 1 Trauma hospital
- Active ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification required
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
- Proficiency with Siemens 1.5T or 3T MRI systems (Aera, Sola, Skyra, and/or Vida) and Philips MRI equipment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume imaging department
- Familiarity with trauma imaging protocols and urgent/emergent MRI procedures
