MRI Technologist – Mobile MRI

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MRI studies as the sole MRI Technologist aboard a Semi Mobile MRI unit traveling to 1–3 hospitals per day
• Ride daily on the Semi Mobile MRI unit; a dedicated driver is provided — no driving required
• Conduct Neuro, MSK, and Abdominal imaging procedures proficiently and independently
• Operate equipment including GE Explorer Lift 1.5T, GE Architect 3.0T, and Siemens Espree 1.5T; utilize SECTRA PACS, VRAD, and EPIC Electronic Charting
• Begin each shift at the originating Sioux Falls hospital, typically starting at 5:30 AM or 6:30 AM; daily hours vary based on patient volume
• Badge in and out at each facility; wear gray scrubs per dress code requirements

Required Qualifications

• ARRT certification required
• MR Registry (MR) required
• BLS certification required
• Ability to work independently as the only MRI Technologist on the mobile unit
• Must be willing and able to travel on the Semi Mobile MRI unit for all shifts, Monday–Friday; travel will not exceed 150 miles from Sioux Falls
• Local candidates (within 80 miles of the facility) are welcome to apply

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Minimum 5 years of MRI experience preferred
• Proficiency in Neuro, MSK, and Abdominal Imaging strongly preferred
• Prior experience with GE and Siemens MRI platforms preferred
• Familiarity with EPIC Electronic Charting and SECTRA PACS preferred
