Travel MRI Technologist

Schedule / Job TypeContract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days, Monday–Thursday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Perform a wide variety of routine and advanced MRI imaging procedures while supporting patient throughput and efficient patient flow
- Conduct basic MRI screening of patients and employees and ensure completed exams are accurately scanned and stored in PACS
- Troubleshoot basic equipment maintenance issues and report malfunctions to appropriate personnel; perform follow-up as needed
- Participate in quality assurance activities and resolve issues related to image processing and the image archiving system, including serving as a PACS Superuser during downtime
- Adapt patient assessment and care methods to accommodate the unique physical, psychosocial, cultural, and age-specific needs of each patient
- Maintain compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and standards of care as required by state, federal, and regulatory entities
Required Qualifications- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or an accepted and approved equivalent program
- MRI certification from ARRT or ARMRIT required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required — American Heart Association (AHA) only
- State licensure required where applicable by state regulation
- Basic computer proficiency required
Preferred Experience / Skills- Minimum 1 year of MRI experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred
- Demonstrated flexibility to work varying shifts and across multiple locations as needed
