Travel MRI Technologist

Schedule / Job TypeContract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Evening Shift, Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Perform a wide variety of routine and advanced MRI imaging procedures while supporting efficient patient flow and throughput
- Conduct basic MRI screening of patients and staff, and ensure completed exams are accurately scanned and stored in PACS
- Troubleshoot basic equipment maintenance issues and report malfunctions to appropriate personnel with proper follow-up
- Participate in quality assurance activities and resolve issues related to image processing and the image archiving system
- Adapt patient assessment and care methods to accommodate the unique physical, psychosocial, cultural, and age-specific needs of each patient
- Demonstrate flexibility by working other shifts as needed and maintaining compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and standards of care
Required Qualifications- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or equivalent program
- MRI certification from ARRT or ARMRIT required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (American Heart Association only)
- State licensure required where applicable by state regulations
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a hospital or clinical setting
- Basic computer proficiency required
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience as a PACS Superuser or familiarity with PACS downtime procedures
- Experience supporting radiologists and referring physicians in a fast-paced imaging environment
