MRI Technologist

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Perform MRI studies using a GE 1.5T scanner, averaging approximately 30 scans within a 24-hour period
- Start and manage IV access for contrast administration as required
- Operate and navigate EMR and PACS systems including Epic and Synapse PACS
- Adhere to department-specific protocols, dress code, and orientation requirements
- Participate in call rotation, typically one night per week and one weekend per month
- Meet weekend and holiday scheduling requirements as assigned
Required Qualifications- Active ARRT certification in MRI (ARRT - MR)
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association
- Previous hands-on experience operating GE MRI equipment
- Ability to start IVs independently
- Must be available and present in state for the full week of department-specific orientation
- Valid driver's license required; must reside within 60 miles of facility
Preferred Experience / Skills- Familiarity with Fuji imaging systems in addition to Synapse PACS
- Prior travel or contract experience in a hospital radiology or MRI department
