Contract | Night Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 18:30–07:00 | Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MRI imaging across a range of body areas including abdomen, pelvis, head and neck, spine, and musculoskeletal regions
• Execute advanced imaging techniques including diffusion (non-brain), gradient echo imaging, MIP, MRP, peripheral magnetic resonance, spin echo images, surface coils, T1 and T2, and CINE
• Operate GE and Siemens MRI equipment and document using EPIC
• Provide imaging services across multiple locations within the facility network, including orthopedic and main hospital sites, as assigned per schedule
• Serve patients across required age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics; familiarity with neonates, infants, and pediatric patients is a plus
• Contract staff may be assigned to a Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team and may be required to report during catastrophic events, mass casualty incidents, or disasters

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of MRI technologist experience required
• Previous travel experience required — first-time travelers will not be considered
• Active ARRT certification required
• BLS certification required
• NC state license or Compact license (pending status acceptable for submission)
• Local candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are welcome to apply; a lower rate applies for local candidates

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with chest MRI imaging
• Proficiency in image post-processing
• Familiarity with neonatal, infant, and pediatric patient populations
