MRI Technologist

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts | Thursday 10:30am–11pm, Friday 10:30am–11pm, Saturday 6:30pm–7am | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Perform MRI imaging procedures including abdomen, pelvis, head and neck, spine, and musculoskeletal studies
- Execute advanced imaging techniques including diffusion (non-brain), gradient echo imaging, MIP, MRP, peripheral magnetic resonance, spin echo images, surface coils, T1 and T2, and CINE
- Operate GE and Siemens MRI equipment in accordance with facility protocols
- Document and chart patient information accurately using EPIC
- Provide care for patient populations including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics; familiarity with neonates, infants, and pediatric patients preferred
- Float between assigned facility locations as scheduled per unit needs
Required Qualifications- Minimum of 2 years of MRI Technologist experience required
- First-time travelers will not be accepted; prior travel experience is required
- Active ARRT certification required
- Current BLS certification required
- NC state license or Compact license required (pending status acceptable at time of submission)
- Must be fully available during orientation week with no conflicting commitments
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience with chest MRI imaging
- Proficiency in image post-processing techniques
- Familiarity with neonatal, infant, and pediatric patient populations
