Description

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist for a weekend-focused 13-week assignment requiring 2+ years of recent MRI experience and ARRT-Mammo certification.

Details

• Hospital-based MRI department providing 24-hour coverage to ED, inpatient, and outpatient patients
• Departmental average of 25-30 patients per day
• Performs breast biopsy exams
• Uses Cerner EMR
• 12-hour day shifts, Friday-Sunday, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• 3 shifts per week with 36 guaranteed hours weekly
• 13-week contract length

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in MRI specialty
• AHA BLS certification required
• ARRT-Mammo certification required
• License required if applicable
• Cerner EMR experience required

Additional Information

• Must work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
• Not open to local candidates within 50 miles of the facility
• Returning staff who previously worked at the facility permanently must have a 2-year break before returning as a traveler
