Job Summary: A Radiology Technologist specializing in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is sought for an assignment in Asheville, North Carolina. This position involves working on a dedicated MRI unit with a team responsible for performing contrast and non-contrast MRI procedures. The role requires technical expertise in MRI and provides an opportunity to work within a collaborative healthcare environment.
Schedule: 12-hour shifts; minimum of 36 hours per week
Start Date: 08/17/2026
Shift Hours: Day shifts with hours from 7:00 AM to 10:30 PM Monday through Thursday, and 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM on Saturday and Sunday
Required Qualifications: Certification as an MRI Technologist; 1 year of relevant experience; candidates must be registered in MRI.
Preferred Qualifications: Breast MRI experience.
Type of Staff: Staffing for a single position in a unit with 9 beds and a team including radiology staff operating GE EMR and Cerner systems.
Patient Procedures: MRI contrast and non-contrast procedures performed on the unit.
Personality Fit: Candidates should demonstrate a professional demeanor suitable for a clinical MRI environment.
Additional Information: Candidates will be expected to adhere to unit policies and dress code (black scrubs). The unit operates on a rotating weekend schedule and may include on-call duties.
