Job Summary:
MRI Technologist position available in Hickory, North Carolina. This role involves performing magnetic resonance imaging examinations, supporting diagnostic procedures, and ensuring patient safety and comfort. The assignment begins on August 31, 2026, with shift hours from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, totaling 40 hours per week.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Dayshift, 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (AART), proficiency in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), minimum of 0 years of experience, and the ability to work at least 60 miles from the facility.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Competency in cardiac imaging.
  • Float: Potential to float to outpatient imaging center (located a 5-minute drive from main campus).
  • Additional Information: The role involves working with GE MRI equipment at the main campus, GE Mobile, and Open Hitachi MRI systems. The unit includes 1 MRI scanner, with an electronic health record system utilizing Cerner. The position may require participation in a weekend call rotation for STAT imaging requests.
