Description

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with at least 1 year of experience and ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification for a Level III Trauma facility.

Details

• MRI Tech position in a Radiology/Cardiology department
• Level III Trauma facility with 286 staffed beds
• 5x8 hour evening shifts, 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM, Monday through Friday
• Possible weekend coverage if on call
• On-call rotation among staff members, with weekday call from 6 PM to 5:30 AM and weekend call from Saturday 5:30 AM to Monday 5:30 AM
• No floating required between units or sister facilities
• Uses Philips equipment
• Charts in Epic

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of MRI Tech experience required
• BLS certification required
• ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification required
• License required if applicable
• Experience with Philips MRI equipment required
• First-time travelers not accepted for this position

Additional Information

• Scrub requirements include black pants and a teal top
• Free parking available on-site
• Block scheduling accommodations may be requested prior to assignment but are not guaranteed
• Travelers may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season, which runs June through November with peak activity in August and September
• Previous perm or PRN staff must be separated from the facility for 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Local candidates accepted on a case-by-case basis
• Candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are considered local
